how should i dress up (costume ideas)?

Question by Alyson: how should i dress up (costume suggestions)?
i have a presentation tomorrow on lucretia mott (supporter of woman’s rights, etc.)
but i also want a costume. something modest and basic but i am not sure what.
she lived in the 1900s or so — what should the “costume” be?

    just wear a white blouse, brown skirt, a shawl (any color) , and a bonnett. There is a good picture on the sight below. (And WHATEVER you do, do not listen to that guy about dressing up like Lady Godiva, she was the chick with long hair and rode her horse(naked)out on the main road of her town, for some protest. Don’t google the images either.
