    Good shot – you should see the front! The reason the Met keeps it turned to the corner is because it sports a large codpiece – considered vulgar today, but quite in fashion in 1520:

    The armourer was Kolman Helmschmid; the client was Wilhelm von Roggendorf, Marshall of Austria. This is not "costume" armour, btw – it’s parade armour: not practical, but definitely functional.
